 Dewey Ronald (Ron) Helton

BELFAST, VA- Dewey Ronald (Ron) Helton, age 63, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday April 11, 2017, following a lengthy illness. He was born May 6, 1953 in Lebanon, VA; son of the late Dewey V. and Rosa Statzer Helton.

He was a retired Human Services Counselor with Family Preservation Services, Cedar Bluff Region for 15 years. Ron was a member and deacon of Community Heights Church, where he taught a Sunday School class for special needs adults.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his brother Howard (Sweet Pea) Helton.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years: Christine Vencill Helton; one daughter: Melanie Helton Monk and husband Brandon (Tater); his mother: Rosa Statzer Helton; special mother-in-law: Mary Ellen Vencill; one sister: Reatha Helton Cole and husband, David; one brother: Randy G. Helton and wife, Sherry; two grandchildren: Steel (Teel Man) Monk and Riley (Mo) Monk; sister-in-law: Vicky Helton; two brothers-in-law: Sam Vencill and wife, Carol, and Johnny Vencill and wife Gail; also several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many special close friends.

The funeral service will be conducted Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 7 PM in the Community Heights Church with Pastor Brian Hoffman and Pastor Zach Collier officiating. Burial will be at 11 AM Monday, April 17, 2017, at Ketron Memorial Gardens, Lebanon, VA. Those wishing to attend are requested to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 AM to go in procession to the cemetery. The family will receive friends after 5 PM Saturday at Community Heights Church, 160 Steelsburg Hwy., Cedar Bluff, VA.

Pallbearers will be: Deacons of Community Heights Church. Honorary Pallbearers will be the employees of Family Preservation Services – Cedar Bluff Region.

Wanda Powers

CLEVELAND, VA- Wanda Powers, age 62, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017.Wanda was born July 19, 1954, a daughter of the late Berkley Musick and Verlean Johnson Musick. She was a Register Nurse at Russell County Medical Center for 26 years.In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband: Ranzy Powers; son: Frank Powers; two brothers: Swanson Musick and Ira Musick.

Survivors include one son: Matthew and wife Rheanne Powers; mother: Verlean Johnson Musick; three sisters: Linda Barton, Shirley Brown and husband Herb and Marilyn Musick; and several nieces and nephews survive.

A memorial service will be conducted at 7 pm Tuesday, April 11, 2017 in the Combs Funeral Service Chapel.

Burial will be at a later date in the Musick Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 pm until 7 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Arlie May Hilton

ST.PAUL, VA- Arlie May Hilton, age 90, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017 at her home.

She was the daughter of the late Arlie and Dana Hall Combs. Mrs. Hilton was a resident of St. Paul for 70 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of St. Paul and was active at the Food Pantry with the church. She had worked as a Teachers Aid at the school and a supervisor at J. Fred Matthews Library.

Survivors include her husband of 70 years: Leroy Hilton, Jr.; one daughter: Melonie Hilton Edwards; one son: Leroy Nathaniel Hilton, III; one grandson: Nathan Edwards and wife Katie; one great-granddaughter: Julianna; and several nieces and nephews survive.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Jimmy Castle

CLEVELAND, VA – Jimmy Castle, age 81, went to be with the Lord, April 7, 2017 at Russell County Medical Center, after a long battle with black lung and lung cancer. He was born July 4, 1935 in Trammell, a son of the late Nelson and Donna Austin Castle.

He was a disabled coal miner, he loved fishing and hunting, he was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Korean War, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge #254 A.F & A.M.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son: Dwayne Castle; two brothers: Willie Napier Castle, Lloyd Castle and one half brother: George Miller; half-sister: Ruth Miller Taylor.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years: Shirley Chaffin Castle; one daughter: Christine Powers; one son: Alvin Castle; two brothers: Earl Castle and George Marvin Castle and wife Jeneine; one granddaughter: Pamela Powers; one grandson: Phillip Powers II and wife Caitlin; one great granddaughter: Baylee Franklin; his dog: Annabelle; and several nieces and nephews. Special niece Geraldine Castle and two special nephews: Hobert “Boo” Phillips and Gerald Phillips.

The funeral service will be conducted at 7 PM Monday April 10, 2017 in the Combs Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5PM till 7PM prior to the service. Masonic rights will be conducted at 6:45 PM prior to the service by Clinchfield Lodge #254 A.F. & A.M. Burial will be Tuesday April 11, 2017 in the Temple Hill Memorial Park at 11 AM. CLEVELAND, VA- James E. Grizzle, age 69, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017 in Bristol Regional Hospital following a long illness.

He was preceded in death by his parents: James A. and Trula Duncan Grizzle; daughter: Renee Beavers; and sister: Jewell McReynolds.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years: Kimberly Cress Grizzle; four daughters: Debbie Jacobs, Karen Hubble and husband Rick, Angie Nuckles and husband Shane and Nichole and husband Benny; five sons: James E. Tippy Joe Kiser

Tippy Joe Kiser, age 67, passed away after a long battle with COPD April 3, 2017. He was born on September 23, 1949, a son of the late Joe E Kiser and Virginia Kiser.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister: Sara Kiser; and son: Brian Shepard.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years: Brenda Kiser; son: Jerry Shepard; daughter: Pat Deskins and husband Dean; grandson: Dalton Deskins; granddaughter: Nikki Shepard; mother-in-law: Helen Rose; sister: Thelma Walters; special aunt: Grace Parrott; several cousins; a very special “adopted” son: Mike Lawson; and the “OLD GANG”.

Clyde Harry Fife

Clyde Harry Fife, age 80, departed this life on Sunday, April 2, 2017.

He was born on April 11, 1936 in Russell County, Virginia, a son of the late George Dewey Fife and Hattie Alice Harrison Fife.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers: Claude Fife; Herman Fife and James Fife; Niece: Dana Barton; and nephews Tommy and Bobby Fife.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years: Susie Barton Fife; daughters: Pamela Fife and Janet (Jay) Kennedy; grandchildren: Austin-AJ (Angela) Kennedy, Alex (Keely) Kennedy; and Kathrynn (B.J.) Fink;

Great-grandchildren: Astelle and Ryleigh Kennedy; sisters-in-law: Bertha Fife, Phyllis Fife and Charlotte Barton; nieces: Carolyn Aper, Connie Treadway, Mary Dzuro, Ellen Eigenbrod, Cheryl Grille and Leisa McCall; nephew: Jamie Fife; great-nieces and nephews, cousins and loving friends.

Mr. Fife worked for Babcock and Wilcox Construction Company for almost 40 years, traveling all over the United States with work that he loved, until his retirement in 1996. He was proudly a Mason, 32nd Degree, a Shriner and an Honorable Kentucky Colonel.

The funeral service will be conducted 7 pm Wednesday, April 5, 2017 in the Combs Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Tom Edwards and the Rev. Jay Kennedy officiating. Ruby Jewell Biggs

LEBANON, VA- Ruby Jewell Biggs, age 89, passed away March 31, 2017 at Maple Grove after a short period of declining health related to cancer.

She was born November 13, 1927 in Dante, Virginia and spent most of her life in Pulaski, Virginia. Then moving to Lebanon in 2004 to be closer to her family. Ruby faithfully attended Jordans Chapel UMC. Her hobbies included crocheting and playing Bingo at PACE.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents: William Sanford Biggs and Bessie Lee Wolfe Biggs: brother: William S. Biggs, Jr., and his wife: Helen Virginia Miller Biggs.

Survivors include her niece: Betty Bailey and husband Gary, Kingsport, TN; nephew: Billy Biggs, Lebanon, VA; and several cousins.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 pm Tuesday, April 4, 2017 in Temple Hill Memorial Park in Castlewood, VA. Those wishing to attend are requested to meet at the cemetery. LEBANON, VA- Fay Christine Jessee, age 90, went to be with the Lord on March 23, 2017. She was known and loved as Mom Fay. Fay was born on June 27, 1926, in the Spring City Community, a daughter of Taulbee B. and Sally Russell Fuller Jessee. She was the wife of Billy Lee Jessee for 59 years. Fay was a member of the Lebanon Presbyterian Church, and enjoyed playing golf as a member at Lake Bonaventure Country Club, the Home Demonstration Club activities, and former Cub Scout Den Mother.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sisters, Bobbie Gent, and Nell Bolling; and her brother, Kent Lee Jessee.

Survivors include one daughter, Priscilla Jessee Bacorn, Smithfield, Va.; two sons, David Lee Jessee and wife, Deborah, Roanoke, Va., and Thomas Christopher Jessee and wife, Nancy, Winter Haven, Fla.; sister, Nancy Jessee, Santa Barbara, Calif.; two brothers, Johnny Jessee and wife, Susan, Spring City and Toby Jessee and wife, Jane, Abingdon, Va.; grandchildren, Jessica Fay Phillips and husband, Michael, Sarah Elizabeth Jessee, Krista Lorraine Jessee, Catherine Emory Jessee, and Meghan Russell Jessee; and one great- grandchild, Matthew William Phillips.

She was born December 19, 1961, the daughter of the late Carnell and Ruth Keith. Teresa was employed with Russell County Schools and was known as the Lunch Lady to many students at Lebanon Middle School.

Survivors include her loving daughter and son: Kayla Kegley and Dustin Kegley, both of Lebanon, VA; three grandchildren, whom where the light of her life: Sophie Kegley, Autumn Musick, Gideon Kegley; two sisters: Jena Addington, Castlewood, VA; and Tammy Farmer, Church Hill; Also several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.

He was a member of Commonwealth Senior Living Church and a lifelong resident of Russell County Virginia.

HONAKER, VA- Loyd ‘’Bud’’ Cook, age 80, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 8, 2017 in Russell County Medical Center.

Bud was born June 25, 1936, and the son of the late Gray and Ortha Cook. He was a lifelong resident of Russell County.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister: Marie Cook.

Survivors include his wife of 22 years: Debbie Crabtree Cook; one sister: Ila Mae Cook, Finney; and special friend: Don Reynolds.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years: Joan White; sister: Earlene Hite.

Ruth Evelyn Colley Lambert

CLEVELAND, VA.-Ruth Evelyn Colley Lambert, age 85, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 2, 2017 in the Russell County Medical Center.

Born on February 3, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Lula Colley of Haysi, Va. She was a member of Sandlick Primitive Baptist Church.

She was the loving wife of the late Alfred Lambert. They were married for 54 years before his passing. She was a cherished mother and wonderful grandmother who will be truly missed.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ernest Colley and granddaughter Andrea Leigh Senter.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda Senter and husband Tom and Pamela Thompson and husband Roger; grandchildren, Thomas Senter, Leanne Senter and Lindsay Thompson; great-grandchild, Rayelea Santolla and sister, Dorothy Harris.

In honor of her wishes, there will be a graveside service at Ketron Memorial Gardens at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 5, 2017 with Dr. Heath Kahlbau officiating. Those attending should meet at the cemetery.

The family would like to thank the Cleveland Lifesaving Crew whose care has been a comfort and blessing to her family.

Albert Vernon (Abby) Coleman

LEBANON, VA- Albert Vernon (Abby) Coleman, age 62, passed away March 1, 2017 at his home, surrounded by family and friends after a lengthy illness.

Abby was born September 26, 1954 in Pikeville, KY, a son of Sally M. Johnson Coleman and the late Thomas A. Coleman. He served in the U.S. Army 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Myer, VA in The Old Guard, Charlie Co., the oldest active infantry unit in the Army which handles all ceremonial duties in and around our nation’s capital, from 1972-1975. 1st Sgt. Albert V. Coleman was also a detective for the Lebanon Police Department and served over 32 years in the law enforcement field.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his brother: Dean Coleman, sister: Shelby Compton, his son: Shane Coleman; son-in-law: David Roddy and mother-in-law: Anna Mae Murphy.

Survivors include his loving wife of 29 years: Patsy (Pat) Murphy Coleman, daughters: Tiffany Coleman and fiancé Richard Ratliff and Jessica Roddy and friend Brian Bellamy; grandchildren: Briona Coleman and 7 other precious grandchildren; father-in-law: James Murphy; sister-in-law: Carol Coleman, Lebanon; brothers-in-law: Mark Murphy and wife Delores, Finney; and Ronnie Compton, Gaithersburg, MD; several nieces and nephews, of whom he was loved as a father figure: Tammy Olson and husband Rick, Ryan Coleman and wife Greta, Michael Coleman and wife Tina, Rhonda Forney and husband Kyle, Cindy Silva and husband Tony, Kimberly Bishop and husband Todd, Angela Ricketts and husband Mike, and Brad Murphy; great-nieces and nephews: Nicki Musick and husband Brandon, Joshua Schlichting, Courtney Olson, Grayson Olson, Chance Caudill, Whitley Ball, Dalton Coleman, Kaitlyn Forney, Riley Forney, Isabella Silva, Brynn Silva, Zara Usman, Tiffany Bishop, Lena Ricketts, Aniah Rowe, Logan (Dean) Rowe, Keaton Daugherty and Bryson Hylton; special honorary son: Chad Johnson and wife Debbie; his “Boy” Nikki Bise and special caregivers: Holly Smith, Danny and Brandy Ratliff.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11 am Saturday, March 4, 2017 in the Combs Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Rick Wallace officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by the Lebanon V.F.W. Post # 9864. Entombment will follow in Ketron Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Lebanon. The family will receive friends 6 pm until 9 pm Friday, March 3, 2017 at the funeral home. Town of Lebanon Police Department will serve as pallbearers.

Barbara Mitchem

LEBANON, VA-On Friday, February 24, 2017, Barbara (who was always known as “Bobbie”), Mitchem passed away peacefully in her sleep, finishing her journey on Earth. Bobbie was born in Eckman, WV on June 15, 1933 to Fred and Josie Powers Bowman, the second of their three daughters.  A graduate of Northfork High School, she worked as an employee of the Western Union Telegraph System in Washington, D.C. before becoming a wife, mother and grandmother, which she devoted the remainder of her life succeeding at.  Always one to share a joke, tell a good story or lend a hand to someone in need she will leave behind many who love and miss her terribly!

Surviving Bobbie is her husband: James Garfield Mitchem of Lebanon, VA.; three daughters: Connie Mitchem Garrett and her husband Dave of Lebanon, VA.; Kathy Mitchem Kiser and her husband Joe of Lebanon, VA.; Kim Mitchem Robinette and her husband Wade of King, NC.; four very special grandchildren who were the pride and joy of Maw Maw Bobbie’s life, and whose pictures filled their grandmother’s “wall of fame”: Justin Kiser and his wife Allison Kegley Kiser of Lebanon, VA; Michael Kiser and his wife Olivia Hale Kiser of Salem, VA; Matthew Robinette of Knoxville, TN. and Jessie R. Garrett of Roanoke, VA.  Other survivors include a beloved brother, Oscar Bowman whom she loved like a son and two treasured sisters, Faye Felts and Judy Venable that shared her history.  Bobbie also loved her multitude of nieces, nephews and special friends that she shared her life with.

Bobbie always took great pride in being born and raised in in the coal fields of West Virginia.  An intelligent and strong woman, her absence will leave a void in our lives that will never be filled.

Mom spent her last days being cared for by the wonderful staff of Abingdon Health and Rehab Center.  We are so grateful for each one who showed our mother such love and compassion.

The funeral service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Sunday, February 26, 2017 in the Combs Funeral Service chapel with Pastor Bill Price officiating.  Burial will be in Temple Hill Memorial Park in Castlewood at 11 a.m. Monday, February 27, 2017.  Those wishing to attend should meet at the funeral home by 10:15 a.m. to go in procession to the cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. prior to the service.  Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.

Jackson Lee Cook

LEBANON, VA- Jackson Lee Cook, age 7 months old, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at his home.

Jackson was born July 11, 2016 in Bristol, TN, the son of Thomas Cook and Amanda Harvey Cook. Jackson passed away shortly after being diagnosed with SMA.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother: Betty Ann Price and paternal grandfather James O. Cook; and maternal great-grandparents: Harold and Janice (Kiser) Harvey.

Survivors include his parents: Thomas and Amanda Harvey Cook; paternal grandmother: Linda F. White Cook, Bristol, VA.; maternal grandparents: Rick and Bonnie Harvey, Lebanon; maternal grandfather: Bill Sam Price, Lebanon and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family expresses a special thank you to Maxim Health Care, Niswonger Children’s Hospital and to the community for their support and prayers.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2017 in the Ketron Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Brother Neal Howington officiating. Burial will follow in Ketron Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home. Friends should meet at the mausoleum on Saturday. Uncles Sam Harvey and Sam Cook will serve as pallbearers.

NASHS FORD, VA- Roger Lee Apple, age 58, crossed the veil Sunday morning, February 12, 2017 surrounded by his wife.

Roger was preceded in death by his father: Oscar “Junie” Apple; one brother: Allen Apple and nephew: Oscar Apple.

Survivors include his wife Ellen Apple, of the home; mother: Sindia Ann Apple, Wise, VA; one sister: Patricia Douglass and husband Bob, Blacksburg, VA; two nieces: Dianna Apple, Bristol, VA; and Julie Lee, New York; two nephews: Michael Mattingly, Jacksonville, FL; and Daniel Mattingly, Blacksburg, VA.

Thomas Kyle Hubbard Jr.

Msgt. Thomas Kyle Hubbard, Jr. Ret.

LEBANON, VA- Thomas Kyle Hubbard, Jr., age 80, a true gentleman, affectionately known as “Rooney”, peacefully departed this life on the evening of Tuesday, February 7, 2017 to meet his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Mr. Hubbard was born in Honaker, Virginia on May 12, 1936 to the late Pastor Kyle Hubbard and Hattie Lee Kiser Hubbard. In addition to his parents, Rooney was preceded in death by one brother: Buddy Hubbard; and two sisters: Eula Elkins and Phyllis Brown.

One of Rooney’s happiest memories, and of which he spoke of often, was at the age of fourteen, meeting the lovely young lady, Juanita Evelyn Stinson, who was the love of his life. Six years later she would become his wife of nearly 58 years, before her death in 2014. He and Juanita are survived by two daughters: Anita Rose of Erwin, TN and Ava White, and husband Larry, of Lincolnton, NC.

One of eight children, Mr. Hubbard is also survived by three sisters: Neva Campbell of Bristol, VA, Mary Alice Hale of Blountville, TN and Jo Evelyn Van Dyke and husband, Tom, of Bristol, VA. He is also survived by one brother, Wesley Hubbard, and wife Nancy, of Fort Wayne, IN; 8 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Hubbard is also survived by the residents, health care professionals and staff of Brookdale Assisted Living, who he also considered to be his family.

Msgt. Hubbard, Ret. proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard. He began his military career at the age of 17 at Sampson Air Force Base in NY. He then received combat medical training at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX. He spent his 18th birthday aboard a troop ship en route for a 2 year duty tour of Japan and Korea where he flew aboard recon missions over N. Korea. He served as a C-121 Aero Med Evac Tech and a H43B helicopter medic, and was an Honors graduate from Medical Service School at USAF Sheppard Tech Training Center. He also served as a full time Air Technician at Scott Air Force Base. During his career he logged over 10,000 hours of flight time, and received the AFLSA, Good Conduct Medal, Special Order of the 473D Fighter Group Medal, National Defense Service Medal, United States Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, The Air Force Commendation Medal, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon, and the Air Reserve Forces Meritorious Service Ribbon. He also participated in Operation Homecoming in 1973, helping to bring home the 591 POWs of the Vietnam War. He was aboard the C-141 who carried, most notably, now Senator John McCain, who pushed him aside to run down the rams to kiss American soil. He served with US Civil Service Commission as a Med Tech and Health Services Administrator until his retirement in 1978. He was then assigned to Air Force Retired Reserve until 1996.

Rooney was an accomplished harmonica player, brick and block mason, builder and farmer, and was known for his warm, friendly smile. He loved his church and was a member of New Grace Baptist Church in Bristol, TN.

The family of Mr. Hubbard wishes to recognize and express our deepest appreciation to the caregivers and staff of Brookdale Assisted Living and Caris Health Services for their tireless dedication, professional service, respect for dignity, and many, many kindnesses during our time of need.

Friends will be received on Saturday, February 11, 2017, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Combs Funeral Service, 291 Highway 71 Lebanon, Va. Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Sam Haynes, will immediately follow at 2:00 pm in the chapel. Interment and graveside service will follow at Ketron Memorial Gardens Lebanon, VA with full military honors by the Lebanon VFW Post 9864. Pallbearers will be Mike Elkins, Mike Campbell, Randy Campbell, Robbie Miller, Gary Hubbard, Matthew Hale, Maxim White, Shawn White, Keith White, Zachary Ingles and Travis Campbell. Frances Bell Houchins

LEBANON, VA-Frances Bell Houchins, 98 of Lebanon, Virginia died on Sunday, February 5, 2017, at home after a long illness.

She was a native of Lewisburg, West Virginia and graduated from Lewisburg High School.  She had lived in Lebanon since 1957.  For many years she operated a preschool at the Lebanon Presbyterian Church and shaped the lives of countless young people in our community.  She was a founder and charter member of the Lebanon Presbyterian Church and was the oldest living member prior to her passing.  She was active in the church as a member and as the historian for as long as her health permitted.  She taught Sunday school for twenty-four years.

Mrs. Houchins was an honorary lifetime member of the Lebanon Women’s Club and was awarded the Russell County Woman of the Year in 1964 and Outstanding Citizen of the Southwest Virginia Area presented by Tazewell County.  She was also very active in the Lebanon Cub Scouts as a Den Mother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Clayton Houchins Jr., her parents Minnie Clark and Lucian Guy Bell, two sisters Josephine Harmon and Rebecca Marshall and two brothers Preston Bell and Alexander Bell.

Survivors include one son Luther Clayton Houchins III and wife Paige of Chilhowie, Virginia and granddaughter Rachel Annette Houchins and her husband Mark Jones of Columbia, South Carolina as well as one great-granddaughter Annabelle Gracen Jones of Columbia, South Carolina.

A special thank you is extended to all of her caregivers, Home Nursing Company Hospice and good friends and neighbors who made it possible for her to stay at home during her long illness.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11 am Wednesday, February 8, 2017 in the Lebanon Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Doug Sterrett officiating. LEBANON, VA- Lucy (Cindy) Bailey, age 62, went to be with the Lord Friday, February 3, 2017 in Bristol Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Lucy was born February 18, 1954, a daughter of the late Dan and Alice Snead Fields. She was a LPN at Russell County Medical Center for 18 years. She was a secretary for Hansonville Baptist Church for many years and a member of Lebanon Lifesaving Crew Crewettes for several years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her baby daughter; brother: Graham Fields; infant sister: and in-laws: Warren and Dorothy Bailey; brother-in-law: Don Bailey and Roger Mounts.

Survivors include her husband of 32 years: Rick Bailey; one daughter: Renee Bailey; one brother: Sam Fields and wife Bertha; Also several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, special nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 pm Wednesday, February 8, 2017 in the Combs Funeral Service Chapel with the Dr. Norman Rexrode, Rev. Mitch Bailey, James Sims and Larry Bales officiating. Burial will follow in the Ketron Memorial Gardens in Lebanon. Family will receive friends Tuesday, February 7, 2017 6 pm until 9 pm at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews.
